A frozen June 2026 documentation set from the earlier Abbey WDBX project. Not the current implementation guide.

Authority

WDBX V2 documents the earlier single-crate Abbey WDBX project: Rust 2024 on the stable toolchain, run with plain cargo. The current substrate is the abi-extracted wdbx workspace on nightly Rust, whose own README and crates are authoritative. The two are different trees; do not mix their commands.

The V2 set is frozen as published on June 9, 2026, alongside its release note. Treat any figure or capability in it as a claim about that snapshot, to be revalidated against the current crates.

wdbx-py, wdnx, and related Python sketches are historical relatives. Configuration facts on this site come from the current Rust crates.
